Kate Moss was born in Croydon, Greater London on January 16, 1974. She is one of the most iconic figures of the fashion industry and has appeared on the covers of over 300 magazines. Furthermore, she has worked with all the top and established fashion labels, designers, and photographers in the industry including, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Bulgari, Calvin Klein, Chanel, and Rimmel. In 1988, at the age of fourteen, she was spotted at the JFK Airport, New York City, by Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Model Management. Over the years, she has appeared in a number of prestigious and well-known fashion magazines in the UK, the US, and France including ‘Vogue’, ‘W’, ‘Another Man’, Vanity Fair’ and ‘the Face’. In 2005, she received the Fashion Icon award, which was conferred upon her by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. She is the proud recipient of the prestigious Model of the Year awards at the prestigious British Fashion Awards for 2006.
