What is Charizard?
Charizard is a large, dragon-like Pokémon that differs greatly from its pre-evolved form. The most notable difference between Charizard and its pre-evolved forms are the large wings that have developed on its back, which gives Charizard the capability of flying. Charizard is also a bug killer, so be sure to use it against Scyther, Parasect, and co. When fighting against a Charizard, remember that its dual type nature makes it susceptible to any number of techniques, including Electric, Ice, Water, and Rock. The fire on Charizard’s tail will change to a bluish-white color if it is furious. Given its dragon-like appearance, it is logical that Charizard is capable of learning many Dragon-type moves, such as Dragon Breath, and Dragon Pulse. A good technique for high-level Charizard users who are up against equally high opponents is to use Fire Spin in conjunction with potentially status-altering techniques like Toxic or Flamethrower.
