What is Gionee?

Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd that was founded in September 2002 by Liu Rong is running a high-tech enterprise that focuses on R&D, production and sale of cellular mobile devices. In 2005, Gionee obtained the GSM and CDMA mobile phone production license.  Its brand has been to Myanmar by Strong Source Company since 2012.  Strong Source Company is distributing the whole country, it is leading in the mobile market with the skillful employees as well as high-tech smartphones on the outlets.  The Chinese firm sells around 25 million handsets a year compared to Samsung’s 400 million, but it still thinks it can be top five inside five years. The firm has a long history in consumer electronics, starting out in 2002 in video and DVD. By 2005, it was a phone maker with its own manufacturing facility in Dongguan. Now, Gionee competes at the high end on features like photography.
