What is the meaning of the Seven of Pentacles?

The Seven of Pentacles tarot card may invite the seeker to take some time away from intimate involvement with the project or situation in order to gain a wider perspective of it. Alternatively, it may suggest that all the hard work involved in striving to achieve success in an activity may pay-off later rather than sooner. The seven of pentacles indicates we’ve followed through with our intentions, and now is a time of purveyance. For example, the purchase of a house can be viewed as an outward sign of emotional involvement in a social or biological family. Possible disappointment in the solid form love takes. Also, the Seven of Pentacles is all about patience, waiting and sometimes just walking away from something that isn’t working. It’s about being suspended and wondering why something that you’ve tended to for so long is not ready to harvest yet. The Seven of Pentacles foretells and warns of disappointments, long waiting periods and proposals you want to mull over.
