Who is Suzanne Collins?
Suzanne Collins is an American novelist and television scriptwriter. She is best known for the The New York Times bestselling series The Hunger Games trilogy and The Underland Chronicles. Suzanne was born on August 10, 1962, in Hartford, Connecticut, to parents, Jane and Michael Collins, a U.S. Air Force officer who had served in the Vietnam War. Suzanne Collins first made her mark in children’s literature with the New York Times bestselling Underland Chronicles series for middle-grade readers. Her debut for readers aged 12 and up, The Hunger Games, immediately became a New York Times bestseller, appealing to both teen readers and adults.
