Who is Rebecca Romjin?

Born on November 6, 1972, Rebecca Romjin is the daughter of a Dutch father and a Dutch-American mother. Her parents, a custom toy and furniture maker and an English as a Second Language teacher, divorced when she was seven. Romijn-Stamos, whose first language is Dutch, grew up in the hippie counterculture of Berkeley in the ’70s. She attended Berkeley High School. Rebecca began her modeling career back in 1991. She used to be a model for a variety of magazines such as Sports Illustrated – the Swimsuit Issue as well as Victoria’s Secret, She worked for famous fashion designers like Anna Molinari as well as with Giorgio Armani. From 1998 up until 2000 she was the host of the House of Style show on MTV. Rebecca is best known for her role as Mystique in Marvel’s X-men. She starred in all three original films of X-men, which used to be one of the biggest movie franchises around that time. She was in 2000’s X-men, 2003’s X-men United as well as 2006’s X-men: The Last Stand.
