What is Precognition?

Precognition is sometimes referred to as second sight, and is a type of extra-sensory perception, allowing individuals to sense and see events before they have happened, and it can almost be described as being able to see into the future. Experiments conducted by the Parapsychology Laboratory at Duke University show the human mind has a habit along with the ability to subconsciously predict an outcome of events by judging current circumstances. Such predictions, if they later become true, are then related to precognition. Nostradamus is one of the most famous people known for his predictions, as he has reportedly predicted several events throughout history that occurred long after his death. Precognition is used normally as a collective term for a number of various foretellings of future events. Some psychics who happen to have precognitive abilities will receive their information about future events via a process known as presentiment.
