How is China’s relation with the EU?

China’s relations with the European Union have also been transformed in the past decade since many European Union members now see Beijing as an “alternative pole” to the United States. The European Union also views China as a promising multifaceted trading partner, with a potential to create stronger economic ties that will also promote tourism. However, the European Union and China also have its divergence when it comes to trade policies since the European Union has cited China for unfair trade practices and high trade deficits. This somehow affects the relations between the two parties. Free Trade was discussed between the two parties, however, there is little agreement among the membership as to how to proceed. China has been cited by the European Union for unfair trade practices, high trade 
deficits, and outflow of European jobs to China. 
 Despite the political differences, China has become an increasing foreign policy priority for the European States.
