Various heads of states or their representatives are meeting up to further make plans in constructing the project, and the next gathering would be in 2019 in Beijing. In line with the essence of promoting globalization, President Xi Jinping stated that the People’s Republic of China is pledging around $113 billion for the infrastructure project that is open for willing states who are also aiming to improve their economic capability and in the pursuit of stronger international relations with its neighboring states.
