We’ve all read about certain kinds of characters: the ambitious co-worker, the brainy honor student, the doting grandmother. To make these characters unique, give them conflicting traits that you don’t normally find in the stereotype. However, creating characters is part of what makes a story personal. One of the most important rules is that there is no rules in creating stories since it is a person’s own thoughts manifested through wordplay.
