Haunted areas are gaining more on more interest from people who want to see supernatural elements with their own eyes. Some people also use haunted areas as location sites for movies and shows. There are countless haunted areas around the world but some are just too much to handle to some witnesses who vow to never come back to these haunted areas in their lives. The Moundsville Penitentiary in West Virginia was one of America’s most violent correctional facilities and the final stop for almost 1,000 criminals. The prisoners lived in cramped quarters, which led to riots. Many men were hanged or killed in the electric chair, while others were murdered by other prisoners. The prison closed in 1995, but according to some, the tortured spirits are still behind bars and in the bowels of the prison and may be seen or heard on a tour. Changi Beach in Singapore served as a ground for the Japanese during the Sook Ching battle of The Second World War. Thousands of Chinese died during this Operation as they were suspected of being anti-Japanese. Strange crying and screaming are reported by people. Te Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan is said to be haunted by a tantrik who tried to use black magic to make a princess fall in love with him. Unfortunately, it backfired and he cursed the fort and all its residents. Stories of people going mad with fear and abductions of intruders have been reported over the past. Today, the fort is closed after sunset and locals warn visitors of not going anywhere near it after dark.
