What can prompt a new international world order?
Many experts have claimed that international law is irrelevant due to the fact that there are no world authorities to govern and ensure that states adhere to the tenets. In fact, there is no international constitution. Treaties, statutes and other international laws that claim to bind states are still considered less than municipal laws. This is why some states are known to be breakers of international law, especially international environmental law. States pursue their national interests despite it being a clear defiance of treaties in which they are signatories to. Aside from that, some governments do not pay attention to abuses of human rights in their population despite participating in the UN Declaratory of Human Rights. Many experts predict that in the near future, a new international world order will emerge, and a stronger international constitution will govern all states equally, as that of municipal laws existing in each state.
