In addition, using social media to raise awareness for certain causes like health awareness, climate change, and discrimination brings solidarity among individuals, and encourages people to disprove of divisiveness. Distance Learning is also on the rise in the 21^st century, with more parents and students opting to take online courses. Online language teachers are also in demand nowadays, since English language learners like the Japanese people recognize the fact that being a fluent English speaker is a great asset for business and career.
