What are some different definitions of Psychology?

] According to Paul Bloom, PhD., Psychology is the most interesting of all fields because it talks about the human nature and the intimate aspects of our lives. Psychology talks about language, perception, dreams, love, hate, morality, depression, anxiety, happiness, and basically anything that has to do with humans. Steven Breckler Ph.D. Argued that psychology is aligned with the mental health and intervention aspects of the discipline. The British Psychological Society stated that Psychology is the scientific study of people, mind, and behavior. It thrives as an academic discipline and a vital professional practice. Matarazzo (1987) claims that psychology is a “specifiable, coherent entity“. Koch (1993) suggests that psychology is more complex and oftentimes incoherent in thought.  Reber (1995) defined Psychology as something that cannot be easily defined or characterized. He stated that “It is an attempt to understand what has so far pretty much escaped understanding, and any effort to circumscribe it or box it in is to imply that something is known about the edges of our knowledge, and that must be wrong.”  (Henriques, G.R., 2004. Psychology Defined. James Madison University).
